It’s been a fun ride but I’ll be closing this anime blog as I did life line by line many moons ago. Mostly for the same reasons as I did before, I basically don’t have time to keep this blog updated… not that I wrote much in the first place. Also I’ve been finding whatever creativity I had go down the shoot, so to try to pull anything remotely entertaining is pretty difficult; you can probably already tell from the last few posts.

After thinking about it, and what I should have done from the start when I got moyism.com, I’m going to try to concentrate on my only other semi-active blog 11~15% suki more. It honestly is the only blog I’ve been somewhat updating through the years, if anything else, to record my many bad financial decisions made. Plus it’ll be easier just to post on one blog versus trying to keep two of them active.

I would once again like to thank all my readers, yes all seven of you, for sticking with me and my spontaneous bouts of blogging. Without all of you, I wouldn’t have even bother to re-start another anime-only blog and even though it was short, I did enjoy writing the majority of my entries this time around. As I mentioned before, if you’re still willing to stick with my ever horrible writing style and inability to take a decent photo, keep 11~15% suki bookmarked. Readers should be seeing a lot more purchases and random rantings in the coming months if everything goes as planned…

… depending on how much I spend

PS: Yes, the one man RAW group [moyism] will still be posting raws whatever I can

I’ll make this quick as my blogger peers do a heck of a better job than I can. If one has not already, check out various posts by omo, zepy, wildarmsheero, Spiritsnare, and hashihime to name just a few.

To sum the situation simply, it seems AX staff dropped the ball big time. Insane lines, long delays in concerts, unfair treatment to the Japanese Guests, management staff running around like chickens with their heads cut off, etc. The list can go on forever (see omo’s post for links to AX forums where one can read the dread some went through). Beside feeling pity for the staff, guests, and con-goers I couldn’t help but think something as unorganized as AX ‘07 seemed to be, that there had to be a mastermind behind all the tomfoolery. And the first person that came to mind was the man himself, Mitsuo Fukuda director of Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny.

Just think about it. Just like both of those series, AX seem to have its ups and downs. People either loved or hated it. Conceptions like “planning ahead” were thrown out the window. The list can go on.

So the point of this post? Don’t let Mitsuo Fukuda run AX ever again.

No seriously, AX needs to get their act together (again?). It’s one thing to screw over the con-goers but to also screw over the performers/guests as well? That’s like digging your own grave. I can only hope for all involved, that AX will only be a faint memory in their lives and not let it ruin whatever future ventures they may have in the future.

… and great. Now I’m paranoid about Otakon since this will be my first time going. Just hope the Otakon staff has better senses than this year’s AX staff because the last thing I, or anyone going, needs is to experience a (another) “bad” con. And speaking of me going to Otakon, some may be in for a surprise if I can get enough interest for my SUPER SECRET PROJECT

Before anyone gets the wrong idea, I’m actually plugging AnimeSeen in a good way.

So due to a few slow days at work, I was finally able to check out AnimeSeen that I’ve been seeing some of my blogging peers pimp out for the past several months. The site, run by Guru3, is exactly what it seems to be: a place to catalog the anime/manga/etc you have, are, or want to watch/seen. It is simple, straight forward, and pretty easy to use which is fine for me since the easier, the better. I know there are probably a few other sites like AnimeSeen out there, but I think what makes it slightly better than the rest is the fact you know almost user is from the anime community; a good majority from the anime blogging community. So it’s great seeing what people like DiGiKerot or Maestro have/are watching/reading and thanks to the ranking system/info/notes features, get an idea of what is “good” or “bad” to them.

If you ever needed a simple way of keeping track of what anime you watch, and want to be able to view/edit it anywhere, I would say AnimeSeen is the place to go. Signing up is simple and free, plus you get to join a growing community of individuals with like-minded interests. So join, join now!

Before I forget, those interested in seeing what anime I have wasted my life on, can either click on the button link on the left or here. Just to let one know, if there was any downside to AnimeSeen, it would have to be that one has to manually enter all the information/series by hand. Not too bad if you’re relatively new to anime or simply importing in whatever list you already have, but if you’re starting from scratch it can be long and annoying. For my list, spent like 2-3 days basically going through all of ANN’s encyclopedia and adding in the necessary entries when I saw series I know I saw. The list still isn’t perfect but probably is a 90% accurate reading of what I have seen or am currently watching…

… which, after looking over myself, seem to include a lot of crappy series. Like Yumeria. Or Buzzer Beater. Or Divergence Eve. Or Eiken…

… I watch a lot of shitty series, don’t I?

I found the following page a tad weird, which can be viewed here or if the page is gone, screencapped for prosperity here. Basically, after putting the page through both babelfish and @nifty, it says something along the lines with DeltaAnime Torrents down/up none of the torrents releases that day on (I assume) tokyotosho are from me.

What I found funny is some japanese torrent site/people actually rely on me releasing series via bittorrent, when all I’m doing is using japanese programs made by/for them to find said releases. Are they too lazy to look for the releases themselves and probably download the files at a faster speed? Do they really need some gaijin to do the leg work for them? Who knows, but I do find it a bit sad that some people relying on me are basically the same folks I’m getting anime from.

And for the record, that day I did release a version of sola episode 13

Special thanks to Omni for the link. It gave me a few chuckles if anything else.

Cannot tell you how psyched I am about a potential KimiKiss anime based on the popular PS2 dating sim game. While the plot, in my opinion, is a little cheesy good graphics, interesting characters, and a veteran seiyuu cast easily made up for the one minor misgiving I have about the game. Most likely the good guys at Heisei Democracy will have more news about this as information leaks out.

If this is true, there is a good chance I may get off my lazy arse to actually blog the series. That’s just how psyched I am about KimiKiss!

(If it helps, off the top of my head the following female seiyuus voice the characters in the game: Rie Tanaka, Ryou Hirohashi, Ami Koshimizu, Mamiko Noto, Mai Nakahara, Sakura Nogawa, Haruna Ikezawa, Kaori Mizuhashi, and Ayako Kawasumi. And yes, I seriously knew this without looking up info about the game to refresh my memory.)

While watching Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS 10, was it so wrong of me to think of/like Stripey? Honestly, I couldn’t help but think Erio was going for some non-blood related sister action on his “date” with Caro during the four rookies’ day off.

I’m usually not in favor of non-blood related sibling love, especially if they’ve known each other for years, but this spring season of anime has been changing my mind. Specifically, both sola and Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS have me deeply rooting for non-blood related sister love. Am I going to the dark side after years of reading Stripey’s blog? Is this a good or bad thing? I don’t know.

… because honestly, I’m too afraid to want to know.
